Air: International and domestic airfare not included. Most international flights arrive into the capital, Male. Once you arrive at the airport in Male, a Zoom Vacations representative will meet you and escort you to the departure lounge of the Island (hotel) you are visiting. You will arrive at your island escape via seaplane or high speed boat, depending on the property, and Zoom Vacations will coordinate all of this for you. If you are visiting more than one property, you will do so via sea plane or high speed boat. Again, Zoom Vacations will arrange all of this for you, so all you have to do is make sure you have packed your passport and sun protection.
Passports: Your valid passport should have at least two blank visa pages and should be valid for at least six months after your planned departure from the country you are visiting.
Note: Passport pages titled "Endorsement Pages" are not visa pages.
Visas: Please note that currently US citizens can acquire a Maldives tourist visa upon arrival. If you are not a US citizen, please contact your nearest Consulate to determine your visa requirements.
While Zoom Vacations will assist when possible, please note that passport, visa, and vaccination requirements vary from country to country and are the sole responsibility of the traveler. If you are a US resident, you may click here for more information on passport, visa, and vaccination requirements for various countries.
Covid-19: At this time, proof of a negative PCR test is mandatory 1-3 days before your flight to the Maldives. If you need assistance or have questions about how to get a PCR test, please contact us. Once you have your negative PCR test, you must fill out this online form within 24 hours of your outbound flight, input your test result information, and upload a photo of yourself. When traveling within the Maldives to different properties, you will need proof of a negative PCR test, before arriving at the new property. Zoom Vacations will help arrange this.
At this time, all air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board a flight to the United States. If this is still a requirement at the time of our trip, Zoom Vacations will assist our travelers with testing.
Please read Terms and Conditions prior to booking.
